Enable Multi-Factor Authentication on SAPIENT
Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) is a layered approach to securing data and applications, whereby a system requires a user to present a combination of two or more credentials to verify their identity and login.
Why use MFA?
The main benefits of MFA are enhanced security, including reduced risk of unauthorised access and protection against phishing attacks. The MFA functionality enhances the security of SAPIENT, whilst also requiring minimal additional time and effort from users.
ImportantIn SAPIENT, the MFA feature can only be enabled or disabled at the customer account level. If MFA is enabled, all users associated with the customer account are required to complete a second verification step to login to the Sapient UI.
How to enable MFA on SAPIENT
To enable MFA on SAPIENT, perform the steps as explained in the following procedure.
ImportantBefore enabling the MFA process, bear in mind the following:
By default, the MFA is disabled for all customer accounts.
Only a Customer Administrator user with the Users Administrator permission has the option to enable MFA for all users associated with the customer account.
- 1. Navigate to the Users page
- 2. Enable MFA
- 3. Confirm and enable
