Delete address

Deleting an address involves removing an entry from the address book, typically when it is no longer needed or relevant.

In SAPIENT, you can delete the address to keep the address book clean and manageable, ensuring that users are not overwhelmed by obsolete or unused entries. This also reduces the risk of errors by preventing confusion over which addresses are current and valid for shipping purposes.

To delete an address in SAPIENT, follow the steps as explained in the following procedure.

  1. In the left navigation panel, select Address Book.

  1. In the Address Book page that opens, from the list, select the address that you want delete.

  1. In the Edit Address form that opens, select alt text.

  1. In the confirmation dialog that opens, select Yes to confirm your action.

Once confirmed, the address is deleted from the system and no longer displayed in the Address Book list.
