Combined label
A combined label is a shipping label that consolidates multiple essential documents into one. Typically, it includes a shipping label and any necessary customs forms, allowing for efficient processing and compliance during shipping. This format simplifies the shipping process by reducing the number of labels needed, making it easier for both senders and carriers to manage shipments.
Royal Mail have a set of import services. These are used for shipments that are imported and delivered into the UK as a domestic shipments. For shipments using these services with a shipment value of £135 or under, Royal Mail uses the label image to be a combined label by integrating the Royal Mail domestic tracked label with a CN22 customs form into a single 6x4, ensuring compliance for international shipments.
Important
Before using the combined label, be mindful of the following:
- You are a Royal Mail Freight 2 Post customer.
- The shipment you have created contains up to 8 items.
- The label format is requested in the PDF format.
- If the import services are being used and the shipment does not meet the requirements for a combined label, you will receive a standard shipping label andCN23 customs documentation as you have so far.
- The existing procedures for shipments over £135 will remain unchanged, ensuring that those shipments continue to follow the established guidelines.
